W dniu 08.11.2022r. podczas partnerskiego spotkania w ramach Powiatowej Platformy Poradnictwa Zawodowego, w którym uczestniczyli pracownicy Młodzieżowego Centrum Kariery w Nysie tak oto przedstawili swoją działalność:

„My name is Joanna Taramina. Together with Magdalena Wajdzik, we are employees of the Youth Career Center in Nysa. The center is a state institution with mission to support young people on the path of their social, professional and emotional development. Our clients are between 15 and 25 years old.

We offer:

1. Vocational Education and Training. Young people learn the following professions: salesman, baker, confectioner, car mechanic, carpenter, baker, cook and others.

2. Supporting adolescents - we support youths in the process of education and social integration. We help preparing them for social roles.

3. Career counseling and guidance, job placement, courses and trainings to acquire new professional qualifications and skills.

4. Organising social and professional programmes financed by European Union that prepare people to take up employement.

5. International cooperation in the field of student  exchange programmes and professional internships.

In our work, Magdalena and I are involved in finding employment for adolescents who require assistance. We support young people in making educational and professional choices. We cooperate with employers of Nysa and its region. We also help finding internships, conduct workshops and trainings, implement social and professional activation projects for the unemployed. We organize study tours and many initiatives for young people such as job fairs, exchanges and foreign work placements.  We help young people to enter the labor market. Recently, we also help refugees from Ukraine”.

W spotkaniu uczestniczyli przedstawiciele z następujących państwa: Szkocji, Cypru i Czech oraz Dyrekcja i doradcy zawodowi z Powiatowego Urzędu Pracy w Nysie. Przedstawiciele instytucji partnerskich, goszczący w Polsce, również opowiadali o swoich działaniach i prowadzonych projektach, a także o zmieniających się realiach rynku pracy w swoich krajach, zwłaszcza po okresie pandemii. Spotkanie miało na celu prezentację oraz wymianę dobrych praktyk w realizowanych przez instytucje działaniach. Mamy nadzieję, że takie spotkania zaowocują wspólnymi projektami w przyszłości.
